Developed for Libraries, Science Centers Schools, & Museums

Your library, science center, or museum are among the most powerful learning institutions in the world. They have content, place, and people.

SolveSessions are immersive and transformative events focused on applying local solutions to the UN Global Goals, thus delivering great and lasting value to communities by engaging audiences in problem-solving methodologies that have everyday applications that live on far beyond the end of the session.

Do you feel that better preparing your students, community, and team for the rapidly changing world and emerging technologies will create a society where we can thrive while working together on our differences?

Be Immersed with students, parents, and teachers in a life changing experiential problem solving experience focused on solving global challenges based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

These fully immersive 1-3 day sessions allow real world problem solving and teach the methods of how to do this quickly. These methods can be used in the classroom, at home in the workplace and in society the next day.

Learn, Vote, Do

Let your community self-select the issues that are important to them. Compare those issues to a global catalog of topics that communities are working across.

When people have a choice and a voice, be prepared for magical solutions. Develop a living archive of what issues are important during current events or times of the year. This can help influence programming and services.

You and your team will learn how to identify a problem, understand the stakeholders, explore the past, and envision the future.

SNAPSHOT

Bring together your community to problem-solve for both local & global issues

  • A unique experiential learning program based on solving for the UN Sustainable Development Goals (Global Goals)

  • SolveSessions focus on a problem set that a collaborative group can work together on. During the session we will work through understanding the root cause, stakeholder issues, scalability, resources needed and end by prototyping solutions, all in one day.

  • Participants experience a collaborative problem solving environment, learn methods and modules they can use in their daily life, classroom, library, home, or workplace. Our methods are quickly learned and implemented.

  • The SolveSessions combine immersive and experiential project based learning with simulation, field-trips, experiments, compassionate and thoughtful discussions and technology explorations.

What We Do

  • A one day SolveSession begins with an interactive exploration of the past and future of our problem topic. This allows groups of 25-250 people to quickly meet each other, learn about shared interests and values and create the first of many pieces of content that will be generated throughout the day.

  • The rest of the day is filled with engaging and challenging modules that move the room towards a better understanding of the themselves, the problem, and the ecosystems they are a part of.

  • A rapid paced design and build session, enables teams to develop a diverse set of ideas and solutions that will be shared with the larger group or community.

  • The day culminates in sharing, reflecting and identifying the next steps in the journey.

Who attends?

  • We recommend a diverse mix of youth, faculty, parents, community leaders, administration, and librarians.

  • We also invite thought leaders and innovators in person and through video.
